Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
