The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
