Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should be part of your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You deposit, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
